Prabhjot Singh Khalsa, MD

Neurologist, Clinical Neurophysiologist

Dr. Khalsa is an expert in neurology and clinical neurophysiology and has been in private practice in Fremont since 1995.  He is board certified in Neurology as well as Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.  He is also board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.  He is the co-director of Washington Hospital’s comprehensive stroke program.

Dr. Khalsa obtained his undergraduate degree at University of California, Berkeley, and his medical degree at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at University of California Davis Program at VA Medical Center in Martinez, California, and his neurology residency at University of California, Davis, East Bay Program.   Dr. Khalsa completed his fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of California, Davis, East Bay Program.

In addition to treating patients with cerebrovascular conditions at Washington Hospital, he also treats patients with epilepsy, movement disorders and conditions involving the spine and peripheral nervous system.  He has been treating patients with Botox for management of dystonias, movement disorders, spasticity, and migraine headaches since 1995.
